Tattooed guy, Larry (I think it was Larry) Conner (I think he said Conner), headphones, cigarette, ignores last night's snowstorm under makeshift tarp and jury-rigged work lights to complete tattoo-themed mural outside Wann Izakaya on Second Avenue. Hey, if Hasselbeck and Alexander can work in the snow, let alone artists like Conner (or did he say Cotter?), then the rest of us ought to as well, right? On the other hand, too cold & windy to actually take out trusty reporter's notebook. Easy to remember a name like...Potter, was it?
Maybe the freezing air makes him feel more creative?
How cool is this guy (talented Artist, whatever his name is...) or Hasselbeck and Alexander and/or all the chivering Seahawk fans that made it out in the snow and cold to have a little fun and show their love of life - thank God for creative active passionate people! And good for the little reporter (was his name Ronald?) whatever the name, go get'm tigers!!!
Upon blowing up the photo it appears that Barry Donner has had some artwork done on his body also. Look at the arms. Only true dedication would make a person work at his art in 20 plus degree weather wearing only a light sweater. The difference between Barney Bonner, above, and Matt and Shuan and company is that the football boys are expending energy and keeping their bodies warm with movement. Part of that rubs off on the 58,000 fans who are up and down and waving their team to victory. Also, it looks as if Donny has a canvas dormer to cover him and his art. Of course here in Bellevue we have no snow. After all we pay extremely high taxes that afford us built in "protection," if you know what I mean.
