Déjà joué: Instant replay or seven-year delay-of-game?

On the way out.JPGThe last time Cornichon watched a Seahawks game at Sport, at the foot of the Space Needle, was just shy of seven years ago. And it went pretty well, with a ten-point victory for the home team over the Redskins.

Tables turned this season, as it were: same opponent, but home-field advantage to the other guys. No matter. Sport's bar is still full, but seems more subdued than in 2006. A lot of patrons are wearing 12th Man jerseys, others (Hasselbeck, Alexander) seem stuck in the past. Order a Diamond Knot Brown,

First quarter goes badly, second quarter almost catches up. Second half starts well, though Lynch loses the ball on a carry from the one; he redeems himself soon after with a TD, and a two-point conversion put the Hawks safely ahead. With less than 10 minutes left in the game, the Redskin QB, known as RGIII, collapses, his knee finally shot. Hawks end up with 24 unanswered points and win 24-14.

On to Atlanta!
