Loulay Kitchen & Bar will be part of Sheraton Hotel

Okay, Monsieur Chef in the Hat, Thierry Rautureau, we're on to your fancy French plans!

You've been saying Sixth & Union for months, and it must hurt to see all the attention being paid to Jason Stratton and his plans for Aragona but now we know the truth! And the truth, gulp, is that what you've been saying all along is, gulp, true: your new restaurant, Loulay Kitchen and Bar, is in fact, being built right now at the corner of Sixth & Union. Where Alvin Goldfarb Jewelers used to be. Says so, right on the permit.

A sweet little corner it is, too. You're midway between two steak houses (Sullivan's, at 7th & Union, and The Daily Grill inside the Sheraton at 6th & Pike). The Sheraton is no doubt glad to have you, since they've gone a generation or more since they last had an interesting kitchen (that would be Fuiller's, where Kathy Casey worked before setting off on her own). On vous souhaite la bienvenue, Chef! Welcome to downtown!
