The colors of Burgundy's vineyards

Burgundy: everybody knows that its many vineyard parcels (known in French as climats, hundreds of unique patches) produce a rich tapestry of fine wines, individually distinctive and collectively remarkable. Now, some 80 years after France adopted an AOC system to codify their status, the climats of Burgundy wear a new crown: they've been named to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
