"America The Great Cookbook" features three locals

Yay! Three local culinary personalities turn up in a hefty new book called America, the Great Cookbook, They are Kate McDermott, who runs Pie Camp at her home in Port Angeles and writes The Art of the Pie; Langdon Cook, author of Fat of the Land, and The Mushroom Hunters; and Brady Williams, the talented chef at Canlis.

The book, by the former food editor of the Washington Post profiles 100 leading figures in America's food world. And three of them are right here in River City. Official publication date is tomorrow (Oct. 31, 2017). And here's a nifty little YouTube video with more information.
